COVID 19

Our operational status is that we are currently operating to normal capacity. We have seen a small number of people self-isolating (<10%), which of course is encouraged, but we have enlisted the services of temporary labour to fill these gaps as we wait for the return of our colleagues.

At this time, foremost in our mind is the health and wellbeing of our staff, their families and their communities. We at Cod Beck Blenders are taking all necessary precautions to keep our staff safe and to protect our customers’ supply chains.

The following steps have been implemented

Site Access:
• Only essential visitors to the site are allowed. Those visitors allowed on site are asked to wait in the foyer, whereby your host will be contacted and accompany you to your location. Please be respectful of this to our reception staff.
• All visitors and drivers to the site must report to the gatehouse via a side window and must not enter the building
• All staff that can work from home are now doing so.
• All meetings are now conducted by video or telephone conferencing.

Personal Protection
• There is an increased frequency of cleaning in all areas of site
• Hand alcohol rub is in place at all site entrances
• All staff have been briefed on measures to protect each other, including
o Maintain social distancing
o When coughing or sneezing cover nose and mouth with paper tissue or flexed elbow
o Wash your hands frequently and carefully with soap for a minimum of 20 seconds
o Avoid touching the face
• All staff have been issued with a personal bottle of alcohol hand rub
